Right-click on My Computer, go to Properties --> Hardware --> Device Manager. From there, you may find Unknown USB Mass Storage Device or something like that, with a yellow question mark beside it, if the computer can't find the right drivers for your mp3 player.
If it's missing the drivers, just search for your specific model of mp3 player on google or perhaps go to Logik's site and see if they have the drivers for download. Then you should be able to install them and it will either pick them up automatically, or you can right-click on the name with the yellow question mark and Update Driver, to tell it the location of the newly downloaded one you want to use.
At least, that's my take on what to do. Hope it helps some~

I have an mp3 myself and there may be certain USB ports on you PC that do understand what has been inserted my advice is check that all you USB ports are working correctly by going in to control panel and device manager. also you might want to check that you have installed the software correctly if not try reinstalling it. may also depend in with format you music is in
