Starts using a screen name so similar to yours that people might mistake the one for the other?
I Use the name Amazing and this individual uses the name Amazing_c.
He/she does not allow email or IM.
My page is open to the public and I ALWAYS allow other users to email me.
Until this matter is resolved, I have altered my name and I won’t be changing my Avatar.
What would you have done?

I wouldn't have done anything. to be honest, I think it would be cool to be the one with the name "Amazing" when other people have to resort to things like "Amazing_c" or "Amazing123" be proud!

There may be a million users of this website - no one will mistake the one for the other. I rarely see anyone that has a handle that I recognize from one day to the next. What makes you so indignant? Do we have a weeny bit of pride creeping in?????
Besides, imitation is the highest form of flattery.

Maybe the person had no intention of imitating you, but just wanted to use a name with "Amazing" in it. I wouldn't worry about it, unless the person did it deliberately to annoy you for some reason.
There's a lot of people with "Chaos" in their name, and it doesn't bother me at all.

Thats a very vague name. You should change yours to something more specific to prevent this from happening again in the future.
