ok, i just got an itunes gift card for christmas. in my music store, i'm using a shopping cart. i want to put songs in it, but it says i have to have like an account or something, but i dont want to use a credit card or something like that. how do i make it let me put the songs i want in the shopping cart without making an account?

You have to redeem the card. Go to the home page on the iTunes Music Store, in the right hand column there ill be a link that says "Redeem," click it then type in the code that is on the back of the iTunes Gift Card. Click redeem, and it will bring you to a create account page, when it asks you for credit card information there will be a small bullet that says none, or something similar, click it then you wont have to enter credit card info to redeem the card. After your account is made go ahead and buy your music. Spend wisely, its extremely addictive (I spent 200$ of them in 1 day.) Hope this helps, Brodster

It speaks the truth you need an account to use a gift card, if you don't have a account you must use a credit card, so why not just get and account?

i had that same problem but u have to create an account but dont put your credit card stuff in there and itunes is safe so they wont give out personal stuff and i also used some fake stuff like Bob Bobby or what every... hope it helps!
