my favorite soap is The Young and The Restless, but my favorite character is Jonathan from Guiding Light. The scene where Reva smoked a joint, his facial expressions were priceless.
The only character from any of them that I can't stand is Marina from GL. It's not her character so much, but the actress stinks. No wait, there's actually two I can't stand, the other one is Gwen's mom. The character and the actress both.

I used to like Young and Restless a long time ago and I liked Nicholas the best because I thought he was hot. I don't even know if he is still on there. I can't handle soaps anymore, they are too frustrating, predictable and slow.

Days of our lives. I have been watching it since the sixties and I can't remember all the people that have come and gone since then. Its not the best, nor certainly then most innovative, but its a mindless way to pass an hour. In fact, I liked Another World much better until the end. I think we watch them because they live ''interesting'' lives, the kind we don't want ourselves but don't mind watching. Writers miss the mark though, when it comes to their idea of making it interesting, I like character driven stories, not the hocus-pocus, ice machine, space characters and demonic possesion things they throw in. My favorite character is Sammy, who can't get it right. Kate also interests me when she is being written right.

The Bold & Beautiful and Y&R Because I think their story lines move so quickly It doesn't take forever. Passions & DOOL I love watching them but sometimes they aggravate me 'cuz they take so long for the the simplest things. But they're alright. I like Teresa & Whitney: Passions
