would you consider being 5'3'5'4 tall, average, or short? I think it would be short, like i consider 5'2 short and 5'3 is only an inch difference...so I don't know what do ya'll think?

according to designers 5'4" is actually the cut off b/t petite and average.
according to doctors between 5'4" is the average height of woman.

So, while I happen to be 5'4" and I consider myself short--technically 5'4" is the norm.

The national average is 5'4, although in my area this is short. The avg. where I live seems to be closer to 5'6. Basically, 5'3 is a little on the short side, 5'4 is closer to average.

Since I have the ergonomic charts at work that were created from data collected by the military and the NCHS, I know that 5'4" is about the 50%tile woman. That would make you and I (I'm 5'4") average. The average American woman was getting taller for years but recent immigration trends have stopped that upward migration.

id say short. not average at my school anyways. but being short is a good thing at times, and anyways 5'3 or whatever really isnt like super short. its just a tiny bit below average in my opinion.

I am 5' 4" tall and everyone seems to think that I am short even me. I would have to say a more average height would be 5'6" or 5'7".

Well i am only 5'2 or either way it makes no difference to me as it is taller than me. I do however feel that the height could be lowered as i find that there is alot of people between 4'10 and 4'11 do maybe that could be the height

I think 5'4 is a little bellow average for a adult female. I'm 5' so i know i'm short

It's certainly not tall. I'd say both were short. I'm 5'6 and I consider that to be average height.

Between 5ft4 and 5ft6 is average height. Anything below is short and anything above is tall. HTH : )

it depends how old you are if you are not done growing then its not that short because im 14 and 5'3 most girls my age are about that height 2
it all depends on genetics in your family 2.
