I don't own any guns. I've had more than my "fair" share of trigger time. So, again, which "Rights" (not priviledges) have you lost? Maybe you should go out looking for them! Hitler, Mousilini, Stalin, they were all hardline liberals. Their big selling point? Passing laws that take from the rich and give to the poor. Sounds kind of like the welfare system the dem.s keeping enslaving us with. And that crack about New Orleans? Blame it on Mr. Chocolate City and the moronic governor... Oh but wait! They've been re-elected. So now WHO's the real moron in this? All of those welfare slugs...

Republicans want a "parent government" where choices are taken away from the individual and controlled by the government. They have no problem with the government legislating morality - except in the case of guns.
Democrats aren't much better. They want government not to make decisions for people, but to bail them out (sometimes for life) if they make stupid ones.
The Republicans stifle liberty and the Democrats coddle people under the guise of "liberty".
With freedom comes responsibility - one party wants to stifle freedom, the other relieve us of responsibility. Neither is a justifiable approach.

The Republican Party is not the liberal party thats why the Dems have more rights, or want more rights such as gay mariage and what not. No where in the constitution does it mention you have the right to swindel people out of money it does however mention the fact you should legally be able to posses modern weapons in order to protect yourself.
Family values is more or less what the republican party stands for even if they lie about, but you can't be proven wrong if you never do anything, that is the democratic stand point.
the Dems stand for absolutely nothing but to belittle the republican party. Republicans may fail, but at least they are trying things out, what did Clinton gain more than his waist line?

All guns would be confiscated if liberals had their way. The Dems (liberals) want the 'nanny' govt. They want everybody to be on govt. welfare so they can more easily control our lives.
