There have been a lot of changes over the course of history, and that's probably why, given the opportunity, I'd rather live now. But if I could go back to different periods of history, just to see what they were like, then I'd probably spend the rest of my life flitting from one time to another - and not sticking to the medieval and early modern periods, either, but heading into the prehistoric and ancient past, too.
As for a single piece of knowledge to take with me... well, that would depend on when I went, and why I was going. E.g. if going back to the time of the Romans, I'd take Latin as my piece of knowledge :-)

Personally, I think we are living in the most exciting times right now. I say that for one reason and one reason only: We are not too far off from the second coming of Christ.Don't you think that the prophets of biblical times would have gave their right arm to be living during these times.Do you know that approx. 90% of all Bible prophesy has come to pass in this last 60 years. And the last 10% (the most explicite, and most graphic will probably occur in the next 25-50 yrs).Do I sound excited, yes!. Reading the Bible with understanding is like reading tomorrow's newspaper. We all fear the unknown,so the solution to that problem is learn the unknown,so you know what's ahead of you.Do I claim to know it all?,Hell no!. Noboby knows exactly when it's going to happen, but we can watch for the signs, the signs of the birth of a new age which like labour pains grow closer, and closer together. The bible is our road map to the Who ,what, when ,where, and why's of God's plan for the ages. Have you read it?You should because without it you are stumbling around in the dark, instead of walking in the light of God's truth.

To be honest,I'd love to visit numerous time periods. To learn about the way of life-and if the history I've been taught is really accurate.
What knowledge would I take with me? Possibly what I know medically-which isn't a great deal, admittedly.

The 16th Century. I would take a Christian Bible and The Koran with me, I would teach all that there can be peace amongst the religions if we wanted it.
then I would be killed.

I'd like to live right now because women are hotter now than they ever have been, and also because life is easier and more fun than it ever has been. I'd like to know how to seduce women, that is the best piece of knowledge by far.
