Brightly colored walls and bright lighting. At least 2 shopping girl friends to run around with. Spa for mani/pedi/massage at least one a month. Yoga/pilates at least once a week for meditation, or even church. Volunteering, comfortable yet stylish shoes. Oh, earplugs are a must, yes, you can still hear the alarm and cell phone.

Pick up your dog's poop. Don't litter. Get involved in the politics of your neighborhood: schools, community gardens, sports teams, etc.
Don't be afraid of your neighbors; don't be afraid to socialize with the people in your community.
Don't talk loudly on a cellphone on a city bus.

How about planting grass and gardens on all the rooftops...this will help clean the air and keep things just a bit cooler in the summer.
