The xbox 360 will always look better than the ps2 regardless of the type of tv.

Well The Xbox 360 hands down has better graphics than the PS2. An older TV will have a worse picture than the HD TV. The PS2 doesn't even have HD capable games.

Depends on your definition of better.

If you mean clarity or resolution then the answer is neither as an xbox on a standard TV running at 60Hz would be at the same resolution as a PS2 on a HD (as the PS2 cannot run at HD resolutions)

If you mean in terms of graphical complexity the XBOX would be better hands down, as it supports such wonder full gaming bells and whistles as High Dynamic Range Lighting, True 3d Bump-mapping and proper depth of field. The PS2 is an inferior console in graphics quality and power to the xbox 360.

Well an Xbox 360 of course would look best with the HD TV given its high def. capabilities and running a PS2 on an HD Tv isnt using the High Def. Its just running on the normal frequency. So I'm thinking its down to what system you prefer.

Like everyone is saying, the ACTUAL graphics are always better on the 360, but the quality of the graphics may be lower than the ps2 on the hd 1028i inputs. The ps2 only has the potential of reaching a graphical value of 128 pixels per milli second, but the 360 can produce 360 pixels....hence it's name.

The Ps2 will not effect on the game play at all, the only system that makes the grafics better is the PS3 becase the games are in HD(or hd compatabale)
