I have to sign some shares over to my mother (in the UK) so she an sell them for me - I'm in NZ - how do I go about this? what's the procedure invoved?

In America, you just sign on the bank of the stock certificate and have it notarized, but you should check with a broker where she is to make sure that's how it's done there.

Best thing to do is go see a stockbroker and they will tell you exactly what to do or consult a lawyer.
