today while i was in the walmart shopping center I was confronted by a man. He started telling me to get in his car and all and i just kept walking but it was really scary! I'm a petite 17 year old girl so its not like I would have been able to fight off this huge man. Well my question is does anyone know where I can purchase pepper spray? Its legal in the state I live in but im not sure where I can purchase it. Maybe the sporting goods section at walmart? thanks guys please answer! thanks in advance =]

omg, I wish I could help you find out where they sale them. Next time (if it ever happends) rund back to the store, or start yelling. Make as much noise as possible so you can call the public attention. you don't want to just walk away. because ppl would just think is your dad fighting with you or something. Make sure you Run to a safer place, call the security. call anyone, call the attention of women specially we all tend to look after eachother in cases like that, specially older women. now I just remmeber that I used to go to places where they sell collectible knifes and chinesse swords, butterflies (type of knife) and they used to sell maze. Am more violent though so I bought a knife small enogh to be legal lol. also walk with your cell phone in your hand and with 911 on it ready to be dial. Good luck

Right before I went homeless i bought soe pepperspray from an army surplus. They have it behind the counter and it is like $12 so it is a good purchase. But don't forget to practice. And make sure you spray downwind when practicing - that hurts. I practiced moving and spraying in case they had a gun or something. Make sure you have it handy at all time and be prepared to use t but also be safe. It can cause allergic reactions which can result in death - so don't mess around with it. read the packaging carefully. If Walmart sells it it is going to be behind the counter so ask sporting goods.
Also check out your local karate or kung fu places for information on self defense classes just for piece of mind. The techniques are designed so everyone can use them. I frequently reread the self defense section in Abbie Hoffman's "Steal This Book" and there is plenty of other good stuff in there that isn't outdated, and it is a good read, even though it is vulgar. Sadly, you can no longer get a free buffalo :(
If your in crowded areas, make a lot of noise and let people know you do not know someone. Walmart has cameras in their parking lots for that reason so you can contact them about it. They might be able to look at the tape and get a description of his vehicle. Also call the police. You might have gotten away safely, but what if some one else didn't .
I' glad you are safe and are lloking into protective means. I wouldn't reccomend a knife, especially a small one. They give you a false sense of security and can be used against you. The same goes for guns, only carry them if you know how to adn are prepared to use them. Good Luck!

You need to take precautions. always park near the doors to a mall or shopping center. Always park under or as close to a light as possible if shopping after dark. When you are going back to your car be aware of your surroundings. Never park between large vehicles like SUV's or van's no one can see you if are small and it is very easy to open the door to this type of vehicle snatch someone and drive off. You can get pepper spray at many places. Call the local police dept and ask them where you can buy it. I am almost certain you can get it in any sporting goods store like Bass Pro Shop. Lastly if you are in a parking lot and someone grabs you or approaches you start screaming your head off, fight like hell. If someone is going to abduct you they probably don't intend to bring you back when they are through with you so you may as well go out fighting. People who fight have a greater chance of surviving.

first of all the first thing you should have done was start yelling and then run towards the store. i mean you are lucky he didn't push you in the car. he could have killed you. i think it could be dangerous to have that stuff you can also have it taken away and used against you unless you are really strong. it could be against the law i am not sure. get a discription of the vehicle and call the police and if you had cell call 911 and report him as hes trying to get you there.

the speed of foreclosure has no longer some thing to do with the seated president. fairly that's irresponsible, grasping lending practices and fiscally ignorant customers who dug the foreclosure hollow, climbed in and pulled the airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust in on properly of themselves. Ditto the mastercard debt in this united states. It has no longer some thing to do with both political social gathering. there is not any recession, unemployment is lower than 5%, the inventory marketplace has hit countless all-time archives this year on my own, and the housing marketplace is figuring out on up. those are monetary signals. Dimwits who couldn't examine the tremendous print on the deepest loan contract and who do no longer comprehend how credit works are not any further monetary signals. those anybody is suffering at their own fingers, no longer on the fingers of the authorities. the authorities, in truth, has made new mandatory mastercard criteria and is heavily attempting to bail out different persons in foreclosure. Take a pair of coaching in economics. in case you understood how the monetary equipment works, you does no longer sense that you're "suffering" so.
