Yeah, the word "import" definitely suggests that the best answer for you would be to time travel back to the height of the slave trade. That said, assuming that what you actually mean is "adopt"... I'm really starting to get tired of people hating on celebrities just for adopting.... lots of Americans have the opportunity, just not all the paperwork/established reputation, etc. So yeah, the the system is definitely a little unfair — but that shouldn't mean *no one* can adopt either. Yet when Angelina Jolie/Madonna/whoever does it, it somehow becomes fodder for late-night comedy, no matter how virtuous the celeb's intentions. Ah well..
