I was just thinking:

How would diaper checks be run in a daycare type of enviroment? Tons of kids, how would you know who made a mess, or if any of them made a mess?

What method would be used to check?

I worked with older children at a daycare briefly. They did everything by schedule (including diaper changes). Everything was done by the clock. I am sure if a baby made a mess in between times, they would smell it. LOL!!

well my mother is a daycare provider of 20 years and she doesnt really use a method. if she smells someone, then she will go and check the kids diapers. she will check them pretty often, she can tell when they are going, you know they usually stand in a corner and just stand there. when they are done she will make her move. i dont know how she does it, she just knows when to check. i guess when you are in the business as long as she has been, you just know.

They are checked almost every hour or so .. at least that is how it is at our daycare center. they also have signup sheets they use to record who does what.
