Hey Dude,
I LOVE my linksys. I have the WCG200. Now, would I do it again. Nope.
I would get a modem separate from the router/firewall/vpn/wireless. There is just too much on that one box for my comfort level....and, I want the N standard now. :)
I also have the wrt54gs and like it. I have created a Dual-Screened firewall. Two firewalls back to back with a DMZ in the middle. A little overkill and old fashioned, but VERY effective for what I do.

I got one from Netgear that came with subscribing multiple computers to RoadRunner cable internet. It works well enough.

Linksys makes one. No idea how user friendly it is.
