I am doing a report and I need 2 know which tribe (above) founded chocolate plz help me out here!

the olmecs were the first ones to figure out that the bean extract of the cocoa plant was sweet. it was further and extensively used by the aztecs who called it xocolotl.

Aztecs. They actually used the beans as money too.
