If you want to know how to remove everything on your hard disk, you'll need to reformat it and reinstall your operating system.

There are guides that can help you walk through the process but be prepared for problems if you've never done this before. You'd be wise to have someone that has done it before come help you.

Be aware that you'll lose your operating system, programs and settings, not to mention your address book and personal files.

Back up what you need to keep and make sure you have all the software keys and codes you need before you do anything.

Print out all the instructions and create all your backup and installation disks before you get started.

Make sure you know what you're getting yourself into because there's really no way of going back once you format the drive.

Sure, just wipe your hard disks. But I hope you understand the implications of such an action. When you get a new computer, it isn't empty. The operating system and various programs are pre-installed (usually). If you wipe your hard disk, you lose whatever came with the computer. You'll have to install everything from scratch.

placed your operating disk interior the CDchronic and reboot your pc. at the same time as it says press any key besides from CD, hit a key. this may get you into the operating device setting up. at the same time as it contains the exhibit screen the position it truly is calling you to p.c.. a partition to position in living house windows, click on the only that is the most important length. seem down on the bottom for added ideas and seem for one which asserts delete or format. once you delete or format that partition, you'll delete all of your information. you are able to then proceed with the setting up of living house windows. it is going to deploy a clean reproduction of living house windows with none of your previous information.

If you mean remove everything from your Harddrive, simply reinstall it and make sure it formats the harddrive or if you want to sell it clean than you will need an application to write all the bits on the drive to 1, because even if you format it, you won't be sure everything is completely erased. So you will need something like this:

You could format it but it will never truly delete everything on the hard drive...you will always leave a trail behind you....and why would you want to delete it all anyway?

If you really do want to wipe out everything (operating system application programs and data), just format the hard disc drive.
