Who knows? The fact is that I doubt Jimmy Carter cares either. Liberalism isn't about change so much as it is about feeling like you are a good person.

Just look at President Carter's book about "Apartheid" in the Middle east. It is definitely an anti-Israel book filled with innacuracies meant to make himself feel like a better person.
The dubious facts in the book coupled with "borrowed" maps, ect. have made some of Carter's most famous followers in the Carter center desert him in disgust.

Carter would just as soon have Israel be destroyed. Such is Liberalism.

I doubt that what you are suggesting is very prevalent. The question that comes to my mind is,When a good man Comes along and does a good work, why are so many people anxious to find fault with Him?

I don't think many because those who get one of those homes have to put in their own time and effort.

When people are invested in a project they will do more to protect it.

What? Why one earth would you think that? He was helping out "habitats for humanity" why would you assume these would be crack houses?
