why don't you check out the syllabus of both mba,marketing and finance and then select the one which you find more interesting. Also the important thing to keep in mind is that what is it that you want to do, do you want to work in areas like, banking and insurance, financial institutions, equity markets etc. or do you want to work in marketing areas like advertising, sales, PR, branding etc. Based on this you can make a decision. You may take marketing or finance, but the important thing is to get a job according to your liking at the end. Secondly, choose an institute that has a good placement track record becuase at the end of mba it is important to get multiple job offers from which you can choose the one most suitable.
