all you really need to do is rearrange to make x positive on one side and everything else on the other side, i.e. making x the subject.
11x-7x = 19+5
4x = 24
x = 24/4
x = 6
see? not very hard, try not to panic and attempt to move what you want to one side and all others to the other, like isolating the thing you want to find...
