I mean he already is, but he just doesn't get it, his idea of romance, is, going to dinner, seeing a movie and coming home and going to bed. Which is nice, don't get me wrong, but, I would like to be surprised with candles on the table at the restaruant, and not telling me where he is taking me, or something to that effect. Or taking me by the hand, lead me into the bathroom after dinner, push me up against the wall and making mad passionate love to me. (stuff like that)

My god, don't we all.
ONCE UPON A TIME, mine went into the restroom while I was cleaning up after dinner, and emerged 20 minutes later. He started pushing me towards the bathroom, undressing me the whole time. When we got close enough for me to see the restroom door, he pulled my shirt up over my eyes to where I couldn't see. Once we got into the bathroom, he pulled my shirt the rest of the way off, and there was a full bubble bath drawn. On the floor were candles on mirrors and the lights were off. It was so sweet. We relaxed in the bathtub for a few minutes and then proceeded to make love on the bathroom floor. That was about a year ago. THE END

Hand him a book on spicing it up and say you need a little more info cause I would like a variety. You are gonna have to help. Guys can get into a routine and not even realize it. Comes with working, day after day at the same old job and not complaining.

Well kitten...You have two real options. You can talk to him and tell him what you would like (which i know would seem like it wasnt his doing if you ask for it...)or you can just live with it how it is. I guess you could also turn it around. Take him out and not tell him where you are going...you know do stuff to surprize hi,,,this would maybe give him the hint and i guess also...when was the last time you did something like that for him?

Something tells me you knew that before you married him?? I would assume he's a good provider, but not the Don Juan you wanted. I've romanced many woman, and I have come to the conclusion He eithier has it or not.. Sorry....
I've had similar problems with some woman, so I know what you mean. You can't put a monkey in suit and call him a man..

Guys arent all really like that.....you need to teach them, and tell them how you feel... if not you will end up doing the same routine over and over again because you don't tell him your tired of it and want something new! The assume if you don't ***** about it its okay..... but its not tell him.... have an open conversation with him and who knows he might be wanting the same thing! ;)

so you are on here trying to find ways to manipulate him into doing what you want, typical female, Way not tell him what you want and let him decide for himself what he might want to do about it. That would be the adult thing to do. People might use you as proof for there aregument that there is no differance between a highschool girl and a women. Grow up is what I am trying to say.

why don't YOU initiate the romance instead of being miserable waiting for him to start everything?

I am a very honest and open person. I would just tell him. Communicate it to him. Men dont think like we do , period. They are sooo not like us.
Tell him!!!! nicely.. he is making the effort and so on his behalf I bet he woudl do anything to make you happy.

Have you told him this? Maybe he doesn't know that is what you like. You need to communicate your desires to him, he can't read your mind. Also, do you do these kinds of things for him? People tend to respond in like to what you give them....
