If your heart desire that special someone even if its male or female.Then you should go for it and try on what u feel inside. Based on what u feel not on how other people feel about u being with that person.Because this what causes being ashamed of yourself.Most of the time but the true question is are u ashamed of being a woman who likes a woman or u ashamed of what others think about it?

Well Ray, I hope you are a female first off. If you are a lesbian due to wanting to be hip, current, pier pressured, faddish, then by all means you should be ashamed!!
If you are naturally predisposed to being attracted to your same sex due to internal feelings and your natural desires developed over your life and they are honest ones, then by all means you have nothing to be ashamed of. We are all wired a little differently.....And as long as we are all being honest & sincere we should be accepted for what we are.

No. What you feel is neither good or bad. It just is your reality. You should do what makes you happy sexually as long as your partner is willing. Denying the essence of your being will make you miserable. Be a lesbian and save the money you'd spend on counseling if you denied it.

why would you feel ashamed? unless you are not quite sure of your sexuality. and if you are sure of your sexual preference.. thats like saying you ashamed of who you are. look don't make society make you feel a certain way. you don't answer to them.. do what you do and if God really has a problem with who you are than you'll know when that time of judgement comes.. do what you feel is right.
