generally, people who raise quail do what with their quail?

i was on ebay and there are TONS of quail for sale and i am wondering what on earth they do with them?!?!

Well, you farm and raise quail to shoot and eat. People use them to hunt on their land, or just eat themselves.

well I am the only different one here.. I have 8 quails all have name and all loved very dearly.. I do not eat their eggs nor eat them.. They are my pets and how could I eat them?? I crack up the eggs and give it to them. People say this is bad because it encourages them to eat the eggs but I really don't care if they eat their eggs.. I would prefer if they did not lay eggs, the more eggs a hen lays the shorter her lifetime. So yeah that's what I do with my quails

One would eat them I would suppose. Some people think it is sport to shoot pen raised quail. Guess it makes them feel like Dick Cheney. They are really tasty.

They raise them and then put them out in the fields to breed and then later ppl quail hunt and eat them. Simple as that!!!
