I am getting back into doing Calligraphy, which is a fancy type of writing. I would like to know how to sell my work, but I'm not sure if I am even able to sell something like that. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Communicate with family and friends by showing them your portfolio and do it on a private commission basis to start. You get paid according to what you negotiate your worth is for each small job.

This builds your reputation and your portfolio.

By doing this, they will tell others about you. Thus, you may meet someone which can lead to more Calligraphy work for more pay.

Just do it and keep researching how to promote your skill. I hope you grow rich in your niche.

Submit your work to an art dealer. Try selling it on eBay. Farmers markets, rent a booth and set up your prints. Sign and serial number your work, keep a log with photographs, this method may help increase the value of your work.

I serial number and photograph all of my stained-glass work.
