"Chores" is the word parents use. If we call it a job, you will want pay. Those odd-jobs that are often called chores are the best way for someone not old enough to drive to make money.
Baby-sitting and yard work are very good ways to earn a good reputation. When it comes time for filling out a regular application for a regular job, those people for whom you did babysitting and yard work are great "references". A reference is someone that knows how hard you work and will tell future employers what a fine person you would be to hire.
As for earning some money really quickly you are old enough to learn that this will not happen in real life. Good Luck!

Learn to bake cookies and sell them to your neighbors, friends and relatives. Tell them about your fund raising. Most people would like to help a worthwhile cause even if it only benefits one person, yourself. They'll feel like they're getting something in return for their "contributions": Some tasty cookies in addition to your saying "thank you".
Baby-sitting, house sitting and pet sitting are other options. Do not consider them chores and you'll feel better about doing them. Consider them your business activities which they really are.
Ask your parents for ideas and assistance as well. Tell them you're not really asking them to give you money. Just ideas and some help so you'll make some money on your own.

Put the word out that you'll babysit. Get a few families that you'll always babysit for and you can make some money that way.

Depending on where you live, you could always go to the neighbors and ask them if they need anything done for them. For example, if it's snowing, you could always ask if you could shovel their driveway, or their steps. Or you could find out about getting a paper route, delivering papers after school or something like that.
