you dont have any experience, just put down that you are looking to gain experience in the industry, and to be the best employee you can be.

If you are sixteen, the person hiring you will understand that you have not had the chance to to gain some experience. This might actually work to your advantage because you have not had the chance to learn improper procedures at other jobs, or you have not had the chance to gain bad work habits form other jobs.
What I would do is try to list volunteer activities as past experience. You could do this maybe not on the job application, but during the interviewing process. In a resume, you have a lot of flexibility. You could list your 5 year and 10 year goals on your resume. You could list some of your interests, what motivates you, what you are passionate about, and what classes interest you the most in school.

All people who apply for the first time would face this . If you are very confident that you are the best match for the job you are applying for the first time , explain your personal strength which would give you that feeling that you are a best fit for that job even if you do'nt have previous experience. Show atleast one thing you have done which shows that you are interested in that job type. For example, if you want to work in a Public Library and you do not have experience you should be able to tell your prospective employer that you have done voluntary work at the library whenever you had a vacation from school. It shows you are longing to work there ! All the best.

If you're 16, and on top of that never had a job, you really don't have a resume and don't need one. You need to get an interview and impress the hell out of them. Be knowledgable about the job and very outgoing and well spoken. Maybe get a good reference from a friend who has a job or a teacher.

Getting the first job is always a scary situation. You're 16 so your job at the moment is "student". In the interview explain what courses you're taking, your grade average, what you want to do in the future, and that you will be a hard worker, eager to learn, and develop into an asset for the organization.
Good Luck!!

a character reference may be clever. perhaps somebody from college, or a chum of the family members who works in an excellent variety of interest. you prefer to get throughout the time of reliability and being stressful working (assuming it is the case - play to despite strengths you have). continually deliver a resume, whether you do not have plenty in it yet. sturdy grades and bigger curricular activities are worth putting in.

Instead of putting previous jobs, put in previous academics or community services.
