Once again I've found a question about this and most of the answers were that she doesn't. Why don't they look it up on the internet before answering?
Or is it just easier to keep the myth going so they don't feel quilty for being 'Republicans'????

I dont know how much she pays but I do know she pays it Voluntarily. Couldn't see the general public doing that!

Even if she didn't so what, she is the Queen!
Being English makes me very proud, and instead of always attacking the queen i think people should really be for her and all that she stands for!

Because the Republican Lobby rely on this to gain support the issue of the Monarch not being elected etc doesn't because we have experienced Tony Blair so the idea of a President is fading . So the Republicans have to go on about money ignoring the fact that the State gains from The Royals and also we give more to the EU so do we gain from being members of that club?

It is more to do with ignorance than being republicans. If it wasn't for the Queen it would be president Blair which is a really scary thought. Mind you that's what Blair and that thing he is married to want.

she is the queen and what she does is not questionable so if she wants some thing she wont pay the tax coz she is the queen if u want others to look up on the internet u should rather post a link that says she does

I think the issues is that the Queen, and in fact all of the royal family, is,a welfare recipient. The money that they do have is only theirs because the citizens of Great Britain gave it to them. They have never worked a day in their lives. It is not like salary paid the Prime Minster or members of Parliament who actually do work for the money. The royal family does nothing. So when they pay taxes on money that is not theirs but the money of the people how is that paying taxes?
