Hey Dudette,
Mavis Beacon is a good piece of software. Also, you may just want to do a search for free software on google.
There are a few dozen free pieces of software available.
Also, there are free web sites that teach typing right online.
The BIGGEST thing, however, is practice, practice, practice. I know the two finger typers who are just as fast as many 10 finger ones. Why? They just got good at it. They do it all the time.
Tux typing is good.
Take care and good luck.
Tom

What you want to learn is not called 10-finger-typing, it is called 'TOUCH TYPING' if you type 'learn how to touch type' you'll find plenty of good sites like this one:

cover every letter on your keyboard with stickers so you cant see letters. Thats what my daughter had to do to learn, she is 10 and can do it, stickers still on now and i only backspace a few times now, try it, its harder than you think but great once you get used to it. Good luck.
