red ring around xbox 360 power button?

theres a red ring around the xbox 360 power button when i turn on the system and the tv does not receive a signal. what can I do? does it need repair?

The red ring means there is no signal to a tv so if you check the connection it should be fixed. If not get a new cord to plug it in to the tv.

no, check the input cord, near the part that goes into the syetem is a switch. if you do not have HD t.v and its on that part, put it over to the other side and it should work.

hardware malfunction u either dropped it and something broke or themother boad crashed
