I thought I was finally getting to know who I was and what I stood for but it's all crumbling.
I guess I can sum up how I feel through something I read by Jean-Jacque Rosseau. It may not make a lot of sense considering he wrote it in a political context but I can't think of anything that fully describes how I feel about myself like this one statement:
"...Scattered for lack of any bond of union, like an oak crumbles and falls into a heap of ashes fire has consumed it."

yes I sure do! I am on a first name basis with my self! in fact the other day I was just sayin..."Self, we need to go out and have a margerita" and of course, knowing myself like I do... that is what we did!
