Well, it's always better to just have the truth out there. If he asks you if you're jealous, tell him the truth. If you want him and your friend to stay together, make sure he knows that too.
If you like him and he likes you then there should be nothing between that. If he's a good person and likes your friend and plans to stay with her then that's alright too. If you fall for boys fast then this boy not liking you won't be a major blow. You'll find someone else to crush on and your friend and her boyfriend will be happy together.
''Honesty is the best policy.''
Old and overused, but still true to this day.

The rule is that you stay away from your friends bf. Even as you get older and someone breaks up with a guy it is usually the rule of thumb to stay clear otherwise someones feeling end up being hurt. When in doubt in any situation put yourself in the other persons place and think about how you would feel if this was happening to you. This boy sounds like a flirt so even if you do go out with him you know that he will always be looking for a new squeeze. Is that worth ruining a friendship over? Absolutely not. Think about the number of boys that you have had crushes on in the past year and how quickly that changed. Remember gf's are there for the long haul. They are the ones that listen when you are sad and sympathize with how you feel. Hope this helps and good luck.

well, just stay away from him, he's already taken, and your bestfriend might not like you flirting and always being with him, i fall for boys easily too, but i just think of something else to take my mind of boys so try that, or maybe try spending more time with your bestfriend.

i think he is probably just playing both of you. he talks to you to make her jealous. and then (from what you are saying) he flirts around with you too, just to see if he can get you interested.
this isn't fair to you or your bestfriend.

Do you want to risk your friendship? You should leave that guy alone.
