yes, the heat is distributed. but just a little longer. You don't double the time.

In a conventional oven, unless they're so big as to disturb airflow, then the time should be the same - perhaps a little bit longer due to initial heating if you have an old oven. In a microwave oven, you'd multiply the time for one chicken by sq. rt. 2 = 1.41.

The Thermal Coefficient of your "Domestic" oven will not take any longer to cook TWO!

You did not mention if you have a conventional or a convection oven?

Both should do the same, seeing how the temperature is controlled by a thermostat!

think about it...will dropping two ice cubes in a glass of water cause it to cool faster than dropping just one? Yes. However, it may not take longer...it may just make your oven use more energy to maintain temp. I guess it depends upon your oven.
