Is this what Martin L. King died for? Someone needs to get it across to our youth. STOP THE VIOLENCE ! RESPECT YOURSELF AND ONE ANOTHER.

Bill Cosby is a personal hero of mine. He is rocking the boat and saying things that are making Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton pretty uncomfortable. Without the ability of these guys to fly in and express racial outrage with their hands outheld (why won't they show us their financial records?) via their pressing "victimology", their shut down.
Cosby simply knows the greatness of the Black community and that it is seriously messed up that Hip hop has become the standard of behavior. Thank God for Cosby!

In any culture if you want respect you must respect yourself first. Bill Cosby is absolutely correct in saying these things. If he did not point the fact out that Blacks are no longer victims who would? Certainly not Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton whose livelihoods depend on keeping African-Americans victims. They do not live up to Dr. King's words. When you stop being a victim and start being a survivor than you start living the life you were meant to lead. Go to school, go to college, get a career you and your parents can be proud of, do not say you can't do it because you are Black. Do it because you are proud and Black.

Hey Jacks,
You can be the hero. Start today. It only takes one to start something BIG! Education is the answer to everything. Educate the masses!

Depends on who you are.

Personally, I've never owned a gun, never intentionally physically harmed anyone, never been arrested, never done drugs.

I refuse to become a stereotype.
