I think some of the folks are missing the underlying meaning of the question.
There were so many life and death struggles throughtout mankinds history, I am not talking about the mundane here.

I'm fond of this one. In most places, we have excellent healthcare, a wide range of career opportunities, and more equal rights.
That being said, I'd happily give ten years of my life to be able to travel all through history and see what it was like to live in various times and places of the past.

I would have liked to live in the middle ages but only if I coluld have been a Princess or Queen. I'm not into the whole scullery maid thing.

i would like to have been in my 30's during the 1950's things were simper then...i dont think i would go back much further women were not treated well if u go way back and the struggles were just too much for me.

the 50s, i think that men back then were more of a gentleman (romantic)and plus things werent so expensive.
