It's my Birthday, and will have about 6 hours to kill in the day while Hubby is at work and son at school.
I will have my 2 year old daughter with me.

You should sit round and read without feeling guilty even though the house is a mess - your daughter can colour in or watch tv (you don't have to feel guilty about that either!). Then you should have lunch somewhere nice and go to a big florist/garden centre and you and your daughter can smell all the flowers and if they have fish put your hands in the water and see if you can touch them. Then you should buy yourself the nicest flowers, and put them up in your house.
We have the same face, it's pretty weird

Enjoy the day with your daughter. Think about stuff you both like doing and just have fun, relaxing and spending time together
eg go to the park or the zoo, and feed the ducks etc,
buy some ingredients and make a cake or lots of fairy cakes, getting her to help with some parts, eg sprinkling hundreds and thousands or little golden balls
some libraries run children's clubs where you can go and do activities together
go to a florists and pick out some flowers and then arrange them yourself

invite some peeps round to set up a little party, while you pop out for a new outfit that makes you look and feel like a princess. when your son and hubby are home you can share the day and see your daughters smile when you say "this is how its done" lol

Get yourself to the shops and treat yourself, try to keep your little girl awake so you can put her down for a good nap while you enjoy a nice long pampering bath and get yourself ready for when your hubby gets home, have a really love birthday and may your hopes, dreams and wishes be the surprises on your special day.

Anyone around that could watch your daughter? Get a babysitter...go to the movies or spa or shopping during the day...then get the whole family together for a birthday dinner and board games or something.

Let your daughter help you decorate a shop bought cake with candles then go shopping to buy some munchies..wine and a dvd to watch when your children go to bed.

And you might as well buy yourself some beers as its no fun watching someone else drink!

what fun, go get a manicure and pedicure, facial and a new hairstyle. call a couple of friends and have a day of it, oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! ( the friends will be happy to help with the little one, if the place doesn't have daycare, many do)
