My question would be how can you say someone is stupid for using a bluetooth device other then driving. I have yet to invest in a bluetooth set, but will in the very near future. I like many others don't like to have a cell phone up to my ear all day nor do I like headsets that have the long wires. To say people with these devices look stupid, is like saying that the people in the customer serivce department you call look stupid. Surely their not talking to you on anything other then a head set. Before you say someone looks stupid consider the source. Who's saying it? Wonder what peoples opinion of you are? The better question to have asked would have been, "Why do people feel a need to let us hear their whole phone conversations"? i;e (Netxel Users)

OK, I believe that yes we may look stupid, BUT take into consideration the fact that someone driving down the road holding a phone to their ear is much more stupid. This takes your hand off the wheel and increases your chance for an accident 10 fold. I wear one when in the car so I can keep both hands on the wheel and actually pay attention to what is going on around me. I may look stupid driving down the road doing what looks like talking to myself, but I feel safer doing it.

Is this not a bit superficial and shallow on your part?
Yes people do, and are aware of the necessity but then all look stupid when compared to something else or a difference in time and style.

Fab question - it looks absolutely ridiculous - I find it hysterical. The funny thing is that these idiots can't see how stupid they look - all they need is a filofax in their hand to complete the look. This question has tickled me!

No, that's not true. They look futuristic and space age. They look like they are culturally several thousand years ahead of reality. They're like 'where Bluetoothed man goes today, human beings go tomorrow!' or something. Yeah, cool man!

I constantly see them in mcdonalds for some reason. Really comical seeing them standing in the queue with that 'contraption' on. I think they must think they look 'cool', but really they look like a geek.

Could you imagine what an alien would think if he saw one of these posers walking around seemingly talking to themselves and why do they have to speak so loud so the whole world can hear their conversation?????
