The answer is REVOLUTION. The word revolution is what shall forevermore be echoed. The reason for this is obvious. In this situation the King of England was seen as a tyrant and Revolution will always be spoken of whenever there is a tyrant or oppressive force abusing the rights of men and women. It clearly states that "a cry of defiance", Revolution is an act of defiance to the way the colonies felt they were unjustly being treated. Below is an excerpt to prove my point.

So through the night rode Paul Revere;
And so through the night went his cry of alarm
To every Middlesex village and farm,---
A cry of defiance, and not of fear,
A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door,
And a word that shall echo for evermore!
For, borne on the night-wind of the Past,
Through all our history, to the last,
In the hour of darkness and peril and need,
The people will waken and listen to hear
The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed,
And the midnight message of Paul Revere.

"The Lobster-backs are coming, the Lobster-backs are coming! Free seafood for all! W00t!"

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

But seriously, this sounds like an opinion thing that your teacher set up. Try it out for yourself and have some fun with it.

I think he would have said something like:

"Get your butt out of bed
And go grab your gun.
We'll shoot at the British
And make them run.

I know what I'm saying,
Please listen to me.
The British are coming,
They're coming by sea.

So wake up already
And get ready to fight,
Or we'll all be British
By tomorrow night."
