So what PCIV is saying is... Centrino Duo is a bunch of bits that include a dual core CPU plus other stuff as well...
It's not the same but Centrino Duo includes a dual core.

Centrino Duo is a naming scheme, which you have a Core2Duo, an Intel Chipset, and a Intel Wireless Card. Its similar to calling someone a FOB, where they watch manga, play piano, and speak an asian language.
