The Lewis and Clark expedtion was an amazing testament to human perserverance and courage. The planning and logistics for this expedition were extensive. I would ask how they developed their plan and determined what they would need? What did they know about native American culture, they had some conflicts but also made a number of allies/friends along the way. How can did they communicate with people they met along the way? How did they motivate the men, there were a number of times along the way when the expedition was in trouble and they faced real danger. What were some of the items that they would have brought with them if they new they would have needed them?
