she meets a guy that manages a department storeand he falls in love with her and she ends up cooking at his resarant he opens on the top floor of his store ...everyone that eats her food feels the emotions she put into the cooking...the magic is all due to the live crab that followed her from the open air market in the beginning of the movie

That movie is called "She's So Irresistible". Not sure when it was made, but it's a cute movie, nonetheless.
