There is a solenoid between the wash tub and the pump and either its not opening or your washer is someplace cold and the inside of your pump is full of ice. Just follow the line going into your pump backward towards the tub and youll find the solenoid. You should feel it click when the tub trys to empty. The ice in the pump thing has happened to me before.

Hi,

Many washing machines have pressurestats in them, which controls the filling and emptying of the washing machine, unplug your washing machine from the mains, take the top or back off your washing machine:- you are looking for a small diameter hose connecting to a small plastic bottle the location of the hose and bottle varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. What often happens is the pipe or bottle become blocked, first remove the end connected to the bottle, now blow gently into the pipe you should hear a slight clicking noise this is the pressurestat working correctly, now clean out the bottle and reconnect the pipe and refit the top and test.

Another way to tell whether your pressurestat is blocked, if the water level is over halfway up the door when filling the machine without clothes in it, then the pressurestat is blocked.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Steve

Your pump is NOT strong enough to get it up and out. Even though it is running, it simply doesn't have enough energy or power to get it up and out!!! I know, trust me! It will not be worth the cost to repair it. Next time buy a Magtag!!!
