well, yes and sometimes no..depends on the quantity of the load..i have found out if use more that the recommended amount, the clothes would have a heavy scent of detergent on them..and i always use an oxy boosting powder for maximum whiteness...besides, i hate doing the laundry-*ugh*

I like laundry! Especially when it's fresh out of the dryer!! I like to lay on it.

No, I always dump a capful in, no matter what size the load.
I really should go by the recommended amount--we go through too much laundry soap!

I never really checked what the recommended amount is. I just fill up the cup and dump it in.

WIth the powdered stuff I used to use less than it said.
I have a new washer, and I use what it says to use (liquid detergent).
