Damn some people really are clueless! Does it matter what the texts are about or from who!!! And delete them? What kind of answer is that!!

I know exactly what you are talking about. I had a Motorola v3i and it has a feature to lock folders, messages etc. I actually upgarded to a k800i and had to return it simply because it didn't have this feature. I've read post that you can download application, like which one? give examplas as opposed to general answers!

I understand samsung's have this feature also. Failing that, i'll keep searching and hope someone with a clue answers.

I've had Ericssons and Sony Ericssons for years and played around with them a lot. I've never heard of that feature being available - though I've now learned from the previous answerers that it can be done, so perhaps there may be an application. ?

Why don't you just read the manual [if you still have it; if not go online or contact your service provider] and put a security code/lock code on your phone so no one can see your calls or texts? This is the only thing that I am aware of that may be an available option for you.

Either that or have some friends send you texts saying "hey loser! i know this isn't [your name] reading this...you shouldn't be snooping in other people's personal affairs" JK
