I have nero back it up, which can compress upto 5%, is there anything to compress more than this?
i normally have music, video and softwares mostly. does compression ratio depend on the stuff u compress?

Not really, compression utilities work by finding like strings of bits and replacing with a code. Five percent is probably what you are going to get.

If you want to compress the whole drive, there is a way,
right click on the drive and go to properties. In general section you will see to boxes at the left hand bottom, check the box which says "compress drive to save space". This will automatically compress everything on that drive.
