There are a lot of factors. How well you treat yourself, how your body works in general, random factors considering your family's height records.. usually a doctor's opinion works fine since they can look at your growth chart and make a good assessment. They can always be wrong though.

Wikipedia says, "... Height is determined by the complex interactive combination of genetics and environment. Genetic potential plus nutrition minus stressors is a basic formula. Genetically speaking, the heights of mother and son and of father and daughter correlate, suggesting that a short mother will more likely bear a shorter son, and tall fathers will have tall daughters."

A lot of how you treat yourself and your body will also factor in to your height growth. So say, even if you were suppose to grow taller, if you neglected yourself nutritionally, you probably wouldn't grow as well.

There is tons more to read about the variables of human height at Wikipedia, including a somewhat interesting blurb about Asians being shorter due only to their poor diets.

you could still grow. i'm 14,too and i'm already 5'9! i was told i'd stop growing in 6th grade, but i kept growing. i guess doctors can be a little off, but don't worry. any height is perfect!

i don't know either. it's soo weird though, cause i'm the exact same way! AND MY NAME IS SADIE!! i'm 5'4" and my dad is 5'9" and my mom is 5'2" i think it depends on what your cultural background is, cause with me, my mom is normal hight for an Armenian woman, and my dad is tall for an Indian guy. and i got my dad's hight, i think if you drink a lot of milk and like just eat a lot of high protein food, and stuff, then you'll grow a bit. but not like sooo much.

Yes. People don't stop growing until they are 18.

Some chance, but often at 14 girls have their full height. (that is part of why so often girls of that age are taller than boys)
