I was having a hysterectomy and I am allergic to general anethesia so I was going to have an epidural. The anethesiologist made too big of a hole I was immediately put under and had the surgery. A few days later I couldn't raise my head and my head hurt so bad I thought I was dying. When I got to the hospital my pupils were dilated and I was in convulsions. I had lost almost all of my spinal fluid from the hole in my back. I had a blood patch in my spine. I survived. The doctor said that if my mom had watched another 15 minutes to take me to the hospital I would have died. The anethesiologist lost his ability to practice in Texas.

I lost my voice in 1996. Was diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia. I currently take botox injections every 3-6 months to be able to speak. It isn't painful but it's expensive and if I had no insurance I'd be s**t up the creek.

I injured my back at work & as a result have had 5 lumbar fusions. Now I have more metal in my back than I do in the tool box & I set off metal detectors at the airport!!

I was playing baseball tripped and fell. I tore my labrum and rotator cuff, which is basically destroying your shoulder. Had complete reconstructive surgery on it. Still hurts sometimes 2yrs later. No Fun try not to do it.
