My cousin who is 12 shops for their thongs,underwear and sweat pants . Is that to young?

yes, too young... that kind of stuff is for married people... the thongs anyway... the sweats are o.k...

Some of the clothes is designed with younger women in mind. Some of those colors scream out to 12-15 year olds, not to grown women.
As for the thongs, I have to say look at the clothing that's out right now! Skinny jeans/pants for example...I can see 12 year olds getting made fun of just as older girls do for visible-panty-line. I started shaving my legs at 9 years old for the same reason; it was no fun being called "gorilla girl" by the kids at school whenever I wore a skirt. Girls are growing up faster these days as well. I'm not saying it's good, but it is a fact and one we have to face. Girls as young as 7 and 8 are starting their periods these days. Blame growth hormones injected into the food if you want...
But really I think thongs are just an evolution in under-garments to tell the truth. Years ago underwear used to cover from waist to knees and have gotten shorter and shorter and tighter and tighter over time. Personally I'm still getting used to the thongs and tend to wear bikini's more. But I'm 30 and was used to the bikini's (which I started wearing around 12 as well since maxi-pads didn't fit so well on the regular girl's underwear) before thongs even existed.

hmmm i guess its NOT bad....but a 12 year old wearing a THONG!!?? unheard of..but actually with todays society i can imagine. i guess if you are getting underwear like regular underwear and sure sweats then there is no problem. but see the entire victorias secret place looks like it belongs to hookers with emaciated women in undergarments--not the best influence on a twelve year old. when you like above fourteen and a little more mature then no problem. you're gonna have to start getting real bras by then anyway... lol. but with victorias secret its all about brand name. its so expensie there and the quality is alwasy really good but the clothes arent as stylish as lets say forever 21 (dont shop there till you are at least fourteen).
the other day i got a lotion as a present from victorias secret and it was twenty bucks! one lotion! and the thing is it wasnt that big and it didnt smell like THAT GREAT that id spend twenty bucks over it. its all for the cute "PINK" container and the brand name really. but i got it as a present so what the heck.
i dont know id say if your buyin sweats its ok but thongs...umm hold back on that...the only time i think its acceptable is with dressy pants or white pants so your underwear outline doesnt show and that you need not worry about till you well into your teen years!

The shop is for women, and you should only shop there if you really need what is sold. The seatpants part is ok, the underwear is fine, but the thongs are wrong for a 12-year-old. So are the bras because most 12-year-olds don't need ultra-cleavage.

It doesnt really matter what age u are, its the things you buy what matters.Victoria Secrets holds pants, t-shirts, and boxer shorts and thats okay for a 12 year old to buy but the underwear and thongs are out of the limit.

This is going to sound crazy, but thongs is a little to young for a 12 year old and its not wrong to shop their when a girl needs a bra and needs to get measured its a cool place to go because their stuff is really nice its expensive but its made really well and its so comfortble and some people are picky about the stuff they were and you need a bra and dont like getting stuff at walmart or something and their stuff is nice, but you can wear whatever bras you want but some people like are allergic and their stuff is so soft its comfortble to wear unlike some things that are really ichy, it just depends alot of people get their first bras there because their comfortable.

Just beacuse she wears thongs and likes to shop there doesnt mean she's gonna turn out to be a slut. To blame teens getting pregnant at a young age based on the type of undewear they wear is stupid.

Uh no! I started shopping there when i was 11. Overly conservative(in other words, grannies) thinks that VS is for sexii lingeries only and 12 year olds shopping there is not rite. But the truth is that VS has the new division of P!nK that is mainly for teens and college girls.

No. If she wants to wear thongs for underwear and sweat pants, that is her privilege to do so. There is no age limit to shop at Victoria Secrets.

im the same age and i shop there all the time! 85 % of my clothes are from victoria's secret. i don't buy that kind of underwear though! i only buy shirts, sweats, sweaters, etc.
