I am NOT trying to give you medical advice, but this is what I'd do if I was in your situation. If your infection was, in fact, diagnosed as simply being a yeast infection, I would call the doctor and ask him/her to give you a prescription for a fluconazole pill and then an external cream (anti-fungal AND steroid) to be used after you're beginning to feel a little better "down there." You could be allergic to the cream OR, more likely, you are just so raw that the cream is burning like crazy. Hang in there!!!

Get yourself Acidophilus capsules and insert two of them vaginally. Apply natural yogurt around the vaginal opening. I know this sounds like a lot of work or that it's messy, but it works and is natural. Whenever you feel a yeast infection coming, insert the acidophilus right away. It gets rid of it before it gets real bad. Or, take one acidophilus (Kyodophilus) daily and prevent the problem altogether, not to mention helping your intestinal flora. Avoid high sugar foods because the yeast indulges on sugars. Best wishes

Recurring or chronic yeast infections may have to do with your diet.
In addition to the other advice you got you might want to try to cut out all simple sugars from your diet like soda, candy bars, and processed sweets. Also cut out breads- especially white breads, and some women need to cut out all breads- even whole grain.

Some need drastic measures by even cutting back on fruits.

Make sure you are also wearing cotton breathable underwear. Frequent wearing of sanitary pads/panty liners can cause yeast infections as well.

sounds like you are allergic to the suppositories. yes, it happens. and it will make you hurt worse than when you started the treatment. go back to the doc, and tell them the problem. he will change the med and you'll get better. meanwhile, a warm bath will help.
