I am doing a science project and I need help of where I could get acid and base. Not just any kind of acid or base. I need hydrochloric acid and base (NAOH). I am trying to make a pH of 1,4,10,and 14. That is why I need specific types of acid and base.

Try ACE hardware - they sell conc. HCL. For NaOH dry RED DEVIL lye. It's pure enough for most purposes.
Dilute to your hearts content.

Sounds as though 'Ace is the Place'. HCl is sold as 'muriatic acid' hardware stores. So if the 'Helpful Hardware 'Person' says HCL?? as, 'how about muriatic acid.
