I've always known that you get Vitamin D from sunshine. Now, you can get Vitamin D from a lot of other food sources because certain foods have been enriched with it. Examples would be Milk, Orange Juice, Bread and others. You just have to look at the lable and see if it shows enriched with Vitamin D.
If it's vitamin D for the baby, then he should be taking it through his vitamins. The pediatricians usually prescribe over the counter supplements for babies to get their dose of Vitamin D.

People get vitamin D from sunlight. 10 minutes of direct sunlight between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm are all that a human needs per day. Milk is often fortified with vitamin D as well as some juices.

I'm not exactly sure off the top of my head. However, I do know that sunlight contains Vitamin D. So, staying outside for about 10-20 minutes is healthy for you.

I know that vitamin D is in children's yoghurt's as at the moment I'm pregnant and have been checking the labels on every think i eat i also know there certain mild that u can get with vitamin D in.

i could be way off here but as far as i know you can only get vitamin D from sunlight. ( maybe in certain tablets too ).
