The ones actually added to the USSR were Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. The others were still legally independent.

If you do want the others included behind the Iron Curtain, they would be Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Romania, and Bulgaria. Turkey would NOT be one, nor would Greece. Yugoslavia and Albania would both become Communist, but not as a part of the Soviet Bloc. Josip Broz (Tito) maintained an independent Yugoslavia, following its own brand of modified communism, and Albania ended up as a client state of Red China.

ADDED II: Josef Stalin became General Secretary of the Soviet Union's Central Committee in 1922. He stared to acquire more and more power, and achieved absolute power during the Great Purge of 1936-38.

Armenia came uder Soviet rule in 1920.
Ukraine came under Soviet rule in 1919.
Kazakhstan came under Soviet rule in 1920.

Hard to see how Stalin had any hand in this, since he had NO position in the regime when these came under Soviet control.

Technically / legally speaking, dollhaus is correct, HOWEVER, if in your use of the term "take over", you are including all the eastern European countries that the U.S.S.R. over ran and held behind the infamous "Iron Curtain", you have to include Hungary, Czechosovakia, Romania, and I believe Bulgaria and Yugoslavia (now two separate countries of Serbia and Bosnia, I believe), and possibly Albania on the Adriatic coast directly east of Italy, and possibly Turkey, although I'm not sure of Turkey. You'll want to double-check the latter countries I have named if you're doing some kind of school paper or other type report. I think I'm right, but, I could be wrong on Turkey. Double check and see. To be concise, they were: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Poland (a portion, Germany had the rest), Armenia, Kazakhstan, and all of those nations around that area.
